Guidelines and Policies
1.No Carry-in Food or Beverages - Without exception, no alcoholic
beverages, food or drinks may be brought into the RecPlex. Large
jugs of water only, may be brought in for team use. A full line
of products are available in the concession building.
2.No carry-out of Alcoholic Beverages - Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be carried out of the RecPlex entrance.
3.No Tail-gate Parties - Tail-gate parties or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in the parking lot.
4.Admission Fees - All persons 13 years and older entering the RecPlex
will be charged a gate fee. RecPlex gate fees are as follows:
Weekday and weekend league play – Adults - $1.50, Students (H.S. and under) - $1.00
Weekend Tournaments – Age 13 and over - $2.00
All persons paying the gate fee will
receive a token worth a $1.00 value, that can be redeemed at the
concession building or batting cages.
Note: For certain tournaments there will be an additional admission fee
required, call or email prior to the tournament to find out the
specific admission fee.
5.Pets - Pets are not allowed in the RecPlex.
6.Bikes, Skateboards and Skates - Bicycles, skateboards and roller skates/blades of any kind are prohibited inside the RecPlex.
7.Selling of Merchandise - Selling of any merchandise, souvenirs and
commodities of any kind on RecPlex property is prohibited, without
prior approval from RecPlex management.
8.Signage/Banners - With the exception of team banners that can be
placed on the back of dugouts, all signs and banners must be approved
by RecPlex management before posting/hanging.
9.Warm-up Areas
Softball: Teams can warm-up in the marked warm-up
areas and on the soccer fields. Coaches and players please use
good judgment for the safety of others around you.
Soccer: Warm-ups should be held within the perimeter
of the field that has been scheduled. No warm-up will be allowed
in the goal box area at any time.
10.Abusive language, profanity, unruly behavior and vandalism Such
behavior will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave and
escorted off the grounds. If you fail to leave, the police will
be contacted to have you removed from the premises.
11.The City of Burlington (Burlington Regional RecPlex) is not
responsible for player injuries. Please ask for assistance from the
staff, injuries should be reported to the sports office.
12.Safe driving habits must be observed when entering and leaving the
parking lot. Speeding or reckless driving will not be
tolerated. Please be aware of people of all ages walking in the
parking lot.
