RecPlex leagues are available to both the recreational and competitive player. Leagues are smooth running and offer a quality of life benefit through exercise, in a fun-loving atmosphere. Fall Softball Fee Policy Teams that play in either a spring or summer league will receive a 20% discount, and teams that play in both spring and summer seasons of slow pitch softball will receive a 40% discount on their fall sponsor fee. Men’s Double-header Leagues This year two seasons (spring/summer and summer/fall) will be offered. Each season will consist of 24 regular season games (12 doubleheaders) and a double-elimination play-off tournament Season I (spring/summer) starts Thursday, April 8 through Thursday, July 1 Spring/Summer sign-up deadline: Friday, March 26 Season II (summer/fall) starts Thursday, July 8 through Thursday, September 23 Summer/Fall sign-up deadline: Friday, June 25 Games will be played on Thursdays and Mondays as needed. 2 Divisions will be offered: Class B – D and Class E/Rec Sponsor Fee: $350, due by sign-up deadline. Umpire Fee of $10.00 per team/per game * Forfeit Fee Deposit: $30 per season. Wednesday Night Co-ed League This year three seasons (spring, summer & fall) will be offered. The spring and summer seasons will consist of 10 regular season games and a double-elimination play-off tournament. The fall league will consist of 14 regular season games (7 doubleheaders) and a double-elimination play-off tournament. Spring Season starts Wednesday, April 7 through Wednesday, June 9 Spring sign-up deadline: Friday, March 26 Summer Season starts Wednesday, June 23 through Wednesday, September 1 Summer sign-up deadline: Friday, June 11 Single Games, some doubleheaders on Wednesdays Divisions offered: B/C, D and E/Rec Spring and Summer Sponsor Fee: $225, due by sign-up deadline. Umpire Fee of $10.00 per team/per game * Forfeit Fee Deposit: $30 per season. Receive a 10% Discount on Sponsor Fees when signing up for both the spring and summer seasons by the spring season deadline Co-ed Softball Fall League Co-ed League – Mondays and Wednesdays – Doubleheaders starting Wednesday, September 8 Sponsor Fee: $250 – Umpire fee of $10.00 per team/per game – Forfeit Fee Deposit - $30 Fall sign-up deadline: Friday, August 27 Tuesday Night Church League Single Games, possibly some doubleheaders starting Tuesday, April 20 Minimum of 14 regular season games and a double-elimination play-off tournament Team captain meeting on Tuesday, April 6 at 6:30pm Sponsor Fee of $250 is due on or before the captain meeting on Tuesday, April 6 Umpire Fee of $10.00 per team/per game * Forfeit Fee Deposit: $30 per season. * Forfeit Fee Deposit All slow pitch softball teams will be required to pay a $30 forfeit fee deposit, due by the sponsor fee deadline. The $30 forfeit fee deposit will be reimbursed at the end of the season, provided your team does not forfeit a game or reports the forfeit to the RecPlex office no later than 12 noon the day of the game. For each team's forfeit without notice, that team will lose $10 of your deposit up to 3 forfeits. After 3 forfeits that team will be dropped from the league. |
